The Obsidian Guard

Hello friends!
Id like to introduce you all to the Obsidian Guard. These heavily armoured troops are barracked within the Dark Kin Elves' Keeps and cities. They are the mainstay of the Dark Kin's armies.
They are trained in the use of the Manreaper Halberds - elegant yet devastating weapons that can help repel any attacker.

I've made a start on the minis earlier than normal as I wanted to work on the look that I wanted for the Keep's guards. As you may know I'm not at all confident with my minis so it tends to take a little longer as doubt inevitably sets in!

Anyhoo, I'm at a point that I'm happy to share with you all the look I've settled on (might have a couple more minor edits).

I hope to begin releasing the terrain over the weekend with the minis following shortly afterwards. I do hope to add walls and a gate, but I'll keep you posted about that WIP later!
