A note on the New Year.

Hey, everyone!

This is my 5th year on Patreon. I genuinely thought there would be like 10 of you here at this point. Words can't express how thankful I am to everyone here today, and everyone who passed through over the years.

A year ago today, I wrote a post about my thoughts on YouTube. I talked about how I found making videos increasingly stressful, and how I wasn't sure what my future on the platform looked like.

I'm moving past that phase and more into a phase of acceptance. I predict 2025 will be the last year I work on YouTube full-time, and so I'm just going to have more fun with it.

Although it's sad to think such a huge piece of my life might be coming to an end, it's allowed me to stop stressing and appreciate what I have a lot more. I'm actually excited for what the new year brings, and I want to thank you all again for being there when I needed you most.

My No. 1 artist of 2024. I fell in love with this album. One of the few albums I can play front to back and love every second.

Heal (from Ico)

My No. 1 most played song of 2024. I've just been listening to a ton of ambient this year, and this was a track I kept going back to. It captures a floaty dream-like vibe I've never heard in another song.

Flawed Mangoes

Mangoes has been releasing some of my most played tracks for the past couple years. He started releasing acoustic versions this year and they're all great.

My go-to track when I'm out walking. In my Top 10 most played tracks of 2024.

Get Away (Big K.R.I.T.)

I went back to this album after 7 years and I forgot how great this track is. Never fails to pick my mood up.

#19 (Aphex Twin)

Mainly putting this here to celebrate #19 (Stone in Focus) being officially released online after 30 years. Aphex Twin, as usual, was one of my top played artists of the year and this was in my Top 10 most played tracks.
