I used to spend so much time recoloring the lines by hand, but a friend recently sent me a rendering tutorial that clicked for me immediately. And honestly I think the line colors look so much better this way than they did when I freehanded the coloring. I've been wanting a softer look for my art, which can be difficult when you're doing hard inked lines like I do, but this has definitely given it that softness I was looking for
