Presidents Play Mass Effect 2 Episode 4
Added 2025-12-03 22:15:05 +0000 UTCFirst 90 minute episode. Unsurprisingly it's an Obama episode.
I never intended for an episode to exceed an hour and definitely not by this much, but when it game down to scheduling out the episodes and the missions I needed this one to cover as much as possible so that Barack would be the one to conclude Mass Effect 2.
Of course, these extra long episodes became common by Mass Effect 3, which definitely stretched me thin. For Andromeda I'm gonna have to set a hard limit on episode lengths.
All that said, this was a great episode. It's filled with a ton of cut content, has talk of the cut dark energy cut line, calls back to the Mission Rankings, and provides more foreshadowing for the renegade hook up with Jack.

Shorter episodes are probably better, especially if that means more total episodes! Gives the content a chance to be "current" and make relevant jokes. I hadn't thought before about each of them getting to choose their own profiles since my 1.25 runs of Andromeda I didn't really use profiles, but it's perfect for these guys who spent 3 games arguing over classes.

I was worried about the toll of the production during ME3 and I'm glad the consequences weren't too bad and you've been able to learn. Imo, the key ingreient here is you enjoying it, and if you're burnt out who is that fun for?
