But I did end up at SO many midnight showings through highschool and my early 20's, especially. The only other thing I've ever gone to that was similar was the roadshows for Repo! The Genetic Opera (one of my favorites!)

2025-11-06 22:49:17 +0000 UTCI saw this for the first time in 7th grade and it blew my mind. I had it so bad for Magenta (the maid). And then my dad walked in and started singing along and I just could not remotely picture my redneck-ass father having EVER seen this movie XD

Used to be a theatre here in Toronto that would do RHPS once a month, (I think I went solid for at least a year or two with friends...) it was very popular but the theatre stopped letting us throw rice or toast since it was hard to clean up after and turned to mush with the water... Then the Halloween showing was such chaotic fun, everyone would dress up and the theatre would be packed! All the new people that never went before and then would sit in the back row... ;) always fun to watch them jump when all the regulars would turn around and yell during that one part :P I had most of the call outs going through my head while watching this. My mom still has a handout of the steps/instructions for the Time Warp given out at the 30th anniversary showing she went to as a teen.

2025-10-31 03:15:45 +0000 UTCI don't know if you've ever reacted to Michael Jackson but his Ghosts short film from 1996 (the full version, about 40 mins long) - it is absoltuely REMARKABLE and something I think you would really enjoy - and that Michael fans would love to see you watch, I think!

Dont think I ever totally comprepeheded it or later in my grown days, took the time to sit down and actually fully rewatch it but what a FRICKIN MASTERPIECE!!!

I used to be in a shadow cast in the 90s (I’m old🤣) and there is nothing else like it! We used squirt guns and threw rice and toilet paper, and yelled things back at the screen. It is so much fun! I hadn’t seen this in a while. I still remember all the lines! Thanks for picking this! It was a really fun reaction! The meatloaf comment at dinner had me laughing and waiting for that reveal! 🤣
