Yea you understand what I mean. Adjust the date and it works. Peggy returns from Cali and is still grieving Thompson's death for months (remember how guilty she felt about Mrs. Jarvis) so she doesn't fight as much but seeing Steve pic in the drawer (She had already moved past him in season 1) made her remember who she is. Howard would have taken over the last of SSR operations after Thompson's death which is why the tech is more advanced and you have suitcases with weapons. Peggy then starts her journey into running Shield with Howard. Blam we get shield in the 50s. Much better as a finale then if this was before and all of this is reversed at the start of season one.
