Agent Carter: What a cliffhanger, huh? It’s a shame the show got cancelled. According to the creators the plan was for Jack to survive and the shooter to turn out to be Peggy’s brother, Michael, who would be revealed to have faked his death in WWII. Alas, it is what it is. When Endgame came out, a lot of Agent Carter fans were angry over the final scene. They thought Steve going back in time to be with Peggy disrupted the character development she went through in Agent Carter and what could have developed between her and Sousa. What’s your take? And, now that you’ve finished all of Agent Carter and are nearing the end of AoS S6, do you have any suspicions as to why everyone wanted you to watch Agent Carter before AoS S7? How would you expect the two shows to intersect (a good albeit small example from S1 is the implosion bomb that played a role in a S3 episode of AoS)?

If I had a nickel for every time Fitz was revealed to be an imposter after a major misdirect, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice. At least Mack didn’t have to stab him in the neck this time! Random detail: When Deke approaches Piper to ask her about Fitz he says “Can I pick your brain?” Back in season 5, Simmons said the same thing to him and he said, “That’s a weird saying.” Now he’s using it himself! Rest in peace, Davis. You didn’t deserve to go like that. Some fun facts about Davis’ actor, Max Osinski: (1) he’s married to Dichen Lachman (who played Jiaying) irl, (2) he’s Zava in Ted Lasso, and (2) he’s actually been on the show since season 1! Davis first appeared as a “generic SHIELD agent” background character in 1x09. His character was finally given a name and relevance in season 4. The fact he’s been around since the beginning makes his death even sadder. I don’t think I’ve ever been so legitimately distraught by such a minor side character’s death. Until my recent rewatch, I had forgotten a lot of this season in the six years since I last saw it—but the image of Piper holding Davis’ dead body is one of those moments that will always be seared in my mind. I think a lot of what upset me (aside from knowing he had a family) was how much potential was lost in the budding Piper-Davis dynamic. The duo was really given a shot-in-the-arm this season and it’s so sad to see it end this way. In less depressing news, we finally know why Sarge looks like Coulson! And it all goes back to the Fear Dimension—S5 Fitz must be rolling in his grave. Either because of that or by being called “not the smart one” by his own jealous self😂 What do you think of the Sarge reveal? Do you think it’s a good explanation? And how do you think it will play out in the rest of the season?
