Iām feeling a bit bleh today, fighting off some sort of illness which canāt decide if itās gunna develop hahaā¦I didnāt train but I did want to share something anyway š„
These two photos are almost a year apart, in one month it would be a year!
Although you have to proper zoom in and analyse whatās different to see progression, I feel like Iāve come quite far this year in the gym.
I look more lean right now, not sure if thatās good or bad for meā¦hard to tell haha, glutes have grown a little bit more and my upper seems āwiderā too!
Most importantly though, for the bulk of it I remained consistentā¦never missing more than a week at a time.
This year has been really challenging in my personal life and if I didnāt have the gym and my routine surrounding that keeping me together I wouldāve fallen apart.
So even when times were shiteeee I still showed up because I didnāt know what else to do ā¤ļø
Omg Iām writing a sappy love letter to the gym lmaoā¦it helps me so much tho š„¹
I hope you have a good week and are proud of what you have achieved this yearā¦if you arenāt, donāt wait until the new year to hop on board with that self care and improvementā¦the faster you put yourself first, the faster your body and mind will thank you.
