Patreon Sales Tax for US starting July 1st
Added 2020-05-14 22:26:52 +0000 UTCDue to recent laws passed by the US government, Patreon will start to include sales tax in Premium subscriptions. This impacts most states in the US with a few exceptions. The sales tax in the US ranges from 4%-11% so on a $5 pledge that would be 20-55 cents. If you are in a location where sales tax applies, you will receive an email from Patreon very soon, for people in the EU, most of you already pay VAT tax so no change will apply.
