Hiatus update, and the future.

As I had mentioned, I went on hiatus this month due to being really busy with schoolwork, and I am happy to announce that I have done all of the needed work, and now have free time to work on the next Midsummer's Night update! (If I work hard enough, it might actually be done when the actual Midsummer happens IRL!)
Now further regarding the story of Midsummer's Night - the story is moving into the main plot event where "it starts to get good", and even though it's been really fun and interesting to write, I am feeling rather uninspired. To be completely fair, I have written myself into a bit of a corner where it would be hard to make my ideas work at the risk of the writing coming off as either cringe or just flat-out bad. I have a rough plan as to how the next update should go, but beyond that, I am pretty lost. With this lack of inspiration, I am considering putting the project on indefinite hiatus and starting work on a new VN. I admit, that the work behind this VN has been rather sloppy - this is my first time ever writing something, and I vastly underestimated the amount of planning that goes into this, so I have the urge to start a new project with this experience that I've gained over the course of working on Midsummer's Night.
But rest assured, that I will still put in the work to make the next update as great as it can be - there is some good payoff for the Maris route planned, and I really hope that you all look forward to it!
