Additionally - I mention some notes from the book "Are You Mad At Me?" that I'm reading right now (haha, could the title be any more relatable?) and right after I recorded the section on this book, I came across this TikTok which says the same thing: that women who people please (or 'self silence') are experiencing lots of health issues from this. It's from this 2023 Time Article, but the topic seems to be trending again and is very, very interesting to me.

I love this episode especially the end when you talk about stress management. As a trauma therapist, I use bilateral stimulation daily - walking, tapping, side to side eye movements, vibration, binaural beats. Bilateral stimulation is one of the best ways to process trauma/stress/emotion. Great episode! ✨
