2024-11-23 18:57:30 +0000 UTCSo weirdly enough I’ve had one prophetic dream. It was for the mass shooting in vegas quite a few years ago. In my dream I was in a crowd at an outdoor concert that was surrounded by tall buildings. Then all of a sudden people started getting shot and were dropping dead all around me, these gun shots were coming from one of the buildings. I joilted awake in tears and feeling so disturbed because the dream had been so vivid it had seemed real. I went back to sleep and then the next morning turned on the news and saw that there had been a mass shooting at a concert in Vegas. My mind was blown as the description of what had happened was almost exactly like my dream. It was so wild and I’ve never had anything like that happen again. Cool episode Shannon!

I also think repeating dreams are past life experiences/alternate karmic timelines. I think we can clear karma as we dream. I’ve noticed that an ongoing dream theme/story will evolve over time so I’m clearing or reckoning with the karma or other timeline. I’ve also heard that dreaming will be the subconscious mind making up gnarly situations (teeth falling out/spouse cheating) so that the conscious mind can react so that we can gauge the truth of our subconscious and conscious thoughts and emotions

I love my husband and he’s in these maladaptive daydreams but I really feel like I need to be playing out these scenes. Sometimes I really hate it and other times it’s very comforting

I lose my cats in my dreams a lot 😭 I’m a therapist and I use dream interpretation with clients to process their trauma. Very Freudian but it’s real!

One night in college he was staying over at his friends house and got up in the middle of the night, went into his best girl friends room, and tried to have sex with her in her bed. It was traumatic for her and she never spoke to him again. It divided the whole friend group, super super sad
