I lived in rural China. Facebook, Instagram, twitter, google, gmail…. It was all blocked. We would use VPNs to get around it. China has their own apps for everything we have.

And unrelated to SIBO, if I become angry or have high intensity emotions, my appetite is wiped away. I Have had moments of getting really pissed right after making a meal, and I just let it sit for hours getting cold because I have no desire to eat. Even when I was hungry just 30 minutes prior.

I got one for the first time a few months ago, they were having shows in NOVA and I live in old town Alexandria. I was so interested yet confused about them and wondered if anyone was actually going to their shows lol. I think in the advertisement they mentioned about going and seeing their arts before communism

The most suspicious things found was swelling in her brain and levels of a medication (used to treat epilepsy etc.) in her that wasn’t prescribed to her. The general consensus is that it was the tragic, accidental death of a drunk girl. Just wanted to clear that up for her memory’s sake

They put me on a dose of birth control that was way larger than what I was on initially to try to stop them from forming. A few weeks later I was in the ER with the most painful ruptured cyst I’d ever had. I got off birth control a few months later and I haven’t had any since then!!!

The Pyramids of Giza were made using an ancient pulley system, and measurements were done with rope. It wasn’t aliens, it was humans who had nothing to do in their free time but observe and discover. Humans are very good at pattern recognition, that’s why we were able to create things that align with the sun, or that point to constellations. We were using pi before we had a physical number for it, the discovery of pi was born in part from observing building techniques and how things align

This is because male trees shed less leaves than female trees… however when there are less female trees the male tress produce way more pollen. Which makes allergies way worse! Loving the episode ☺️

He once left the store he was working at to go to the pizza place next door. He asked the worker if he knew anything about the shen yun flyer on the window and the pamphlets- the worker said they just showed up one day. When he got back to his store, someone had taped a flyer to the window and left a stack of pamphlets at the counter. So apparently someone is going around and sneaking pamphlets and flyers into businesses without anyone’s permission

It's older than the pyramids and stone henge and every winter solstice the sun hits it in just the spot to make the entire chamber light up, they think it might have something to do with farming- or possibly celebrating surviving the winter. Ireland has a bunch of sites like this all over the country but this one is one of the more well known one. You could do an episode on Irish folklore (a lot of shrooms were involved) or maybe some research on the sites like newgrange. It could be very timely for St Patrick's day!

A lot of the sleep noise features are an additional $40 subscription, it’s cool enough but I still have to have multiple phone alarms. I also have these little curtain rod robots that automatically open/close your curtains on schedule from a company called SwitchBot - these are so worth it! For about the same price as a Hatch

I learned so much about them and why they have such a desire to be young/thin/beautiful etc and the reality of it was really sad. My husband worked along side these women’s husbands too and he said they would openly compare their wives and rank who had the most “beautiful” wife because that meant they were the best in God’s eyes and so God blessed them with the best wife as a reward. Also, the money thing is interesting. The TLDR is wealthy church members help support the not so wealthy family through school but then once the husbands were doctors/dentists they were expected to give tons of their money back to the church in return. This time of my life was such a fever dream lol. I was 25 has just moved to a small town meeting Mormons for the first time. My eyes were opened.
