Some things that have helped me: making sure I’m chewing my food enough, it really has an impact on digestion Pineapple juice, about 8oz a day when your body is mad. Too much will turn you into a waterfall 🫣 Making sure to be eating a variety but to be getting leafy veggies in every day, it makes a massive impact Drinking all the water, sometimes warm water, throughout the day, not all at once! Walking! Getting enough steps in, and getting nice and relaxed helps. Those of us that spend most of the day sitting and sedentary are more prone to getting blocked up 🤫 Cheese apparently is a big issue for people. Idk. Basically just being hydrated, moving enough, having variety in your diet, should help. Caffeine makes things worse too woot woot

Since it was from the 2000s it was pretty vile at times and when I rewatched at the start of this year it was pretty shocking at first. But I will say for the time they did handle most issues pretty well. Also I have heard a lot of not nice things about America and her ego so it wouldn’t shock me butttt you can’t really be a main actor without some bad rumours 🤷🏻♀️ like I heard worse things about superstore but her leaving made so much sense, though it killed the show

I love the fact Angelica Vale had a guest appearance in Ugly Betty. (Angelica played Ugly Betty/Letty in the televisa version of Ugly Betty)

2023-12-20 19:46:12 +0000 UTCI’ve found that my nervous system dictates the behaviour of my digestive system! If i’m stressed/triggered/in fight or flight I get issues. If I’m levelled out nicely, I don’t. Since starting Prozac earlier this year I barely get any problems, thought for a long time that it was IBS but I think it was just from being in fight or flight. Also, don’t know if you have it in the US but Buscopan is the holy grail 🤌🏻

I’ve maybe heard of a few of these actors before but don’t know them enough to care. Then you have the people where they love the show so it’s a perfect episode. Just something to consider on more niche eps like this

I felt as tho it was a v progressive show for its time in terms of representation and topics like coming out or even immigration which was almost never dealt w in tv at the time. Also any comment that “wouldn’t hold up” today was all done w purpose. to point out and overcome the crude and vial ways of such a ridiculous industry w ridiculous standards in a campy and digestible way.
