You guys didn’t mention this, but the Brazilian government actually put out a statement saying they are investigating the death, which makes the situation way more delicate from ts pov. I think that Taylor definitely cares, but when I say that she is a corporation I mostly mean that she doesn’t have as much agency as person, bc she also represents the brand/product that TS has become. So I definitely think her silence is a sign of legal caution from her team. Also she did meet Ana’s family and they all took a picture with her while wearing a shirt with Ana’s picture on it to “fulfill her dream of taking a pic with ts” so that’s nice. Also not acting is so incoherent with her image that makes me believe that there are doubts about accountability, which is why there’s an investigation going.

Then for Diddy’s settlement while I do think it’s guilty, I don’t think that’s why he settled. The discovery process for this case Pretrial would be even more dark than the lawsuit itself. He didn’t want to open Pandora’s box. I love love love watching pop culture through a legal lens always.
