there were also a couple minor accidents when we were rehearsing the murder scene i chalk that up mostly to me and my ex bestie being not the most careful but one rehearsal we were practicing in the hallway and i lost my balance and almost fell over the railing that led to the stairs and i think this adds to the spook factor but my school was in an old campus with very ornate looking railings but yeah my ex bestie grabbed me at the last moment and pulled me away from the railing and if he hadn’t done that the fall could’ve been deadly or landed me in the hospital another time i accidentally fell really hard on the ground which was concrete which hurt but i was ok one night he accidentally busted my lip and i don’t remember it even happening but when i got off stage sure enough it was bleeding another night i accidentally very minorly scratched his face he didn’t feel it though i just noticed it afterwards also no the final arguments weren’t about the injuries we were actually both really chill about it the railing story is the scariest to me personally

2025-07-13 12:07:03 +0000 UTCthis is an old episode but i do have to share this story after the macbeth bit so i did the seussical my senior year of highschool and we knew the play next spring was gonna be macbeth and backstage someone who wasn’t aware of the curse said “hey are you guys gonna audition for macbeth next spring?” and my friend was like “dont say it” and he was like “don’t say what? macbeth?” and we were like “DONT SAY IT” and he was like “what’s wrong with macbeth?” and we were all like “STOP SAYING IT ITS CURSED!” anyways can’t say everything that went wrong during that production bc it was an absolute mess but the most notable thing to me is that opening night a kid had a medical emergency and we had to delay act 2 to call an ambulance for him i ended up being in the production of macbeth as lady macduff and opted to have my murder be on stage and my (now ex) best friend played the murderer and the second to last night a mini disagreement started that ended up leading to what ended our friendship now idk is that the curse or is that just cause he was a bad friend? who’s to say

2023-10-21 07:11:54 +0000 UTCi watched insidious when i was a kid, probably in 2010 when it came out so i would have been 6 or 7, it scared the shit out of me. i still can’t stand that tip toe by the window song. ugh anyways, not many ghost experiences myself, but i think the place i work at might be a little haunted. i work at a record store that’s in a building that used to be one big store but is now divided into multiple units. there’s an empty unit (it doesn’t have direct street access) behind the back wall of our store that we’ve heard weird shit from. some noises i can dismiss as mice or whatever, but one instance that stands out is when i was alone in the store except for two customers i was talking to when the power went out (storm) and right when that happened we heard a bell, like one you’d hear that rings when you open a door. just kinda weird since there are no bells of any kind in the store and the power was out so it couldn’t have been any music, and it distinctly came from behind that wall. another instance that happened recently was that my boss got a notification that the alarm sensor for the basement door had been tampered with. it was when we were both in the store, no customers, and the sensor is like inside the basement so to tamper with it you’d have to be in the basement. to keep myself sane i’m telling myself it was probably a technical malfunction. also, in the unit next to us that is occupied, the owners have said they have heard the door open and footsteps, they turn to great the customer and no one is there.

Usually just doors closing themselves when it didn’t make sense, no open doors or windows no wind… sometimes things falling out of perfectly stable places, items being moved when no one was around.. I also got visited by the ghost of my cat after he died. I was sitting on my bed and I felt what felt like his footsteps walking across the mattress next to me and it still makes me cry 😅 I choose to believe that. Less than ghosts though I have had dreams of people and places before I’ve been to them or met them. People have tried to argue it, as I have with myself, but it’s happened too often in the most random places with really particular things. Not fully related but on a more regular basis I get an immediately bad vibe from some people everyone else loves and I end up being right most of the time 🤷🏻♀️ but that could also be being a fat girlie and people treating me poorly for no reason beyond that 🫠🤷🏻♀️

2023-10-20 10:51:48 +0000 UTCI’ve had a few ~experiences~ in my life, sorry if this is long winded but maybe it’ll be a fun spooky read: When I was around 5, I saw a woman on my grandma’s staircase really early one morning. She was holding a little bundle, like a baby wrapped in blankets. When I told my mom about it, she said it sounded like my oldest brother’s nanny, who had passed away years before. The other two were not nice ghosts. One was in St. Augustine lighthouse when I was in high school. I’d been there at least a dozen times before, but on this day it was cold and rainy, my mom and I were basically the only ones there. We had gone up the lighthouse and were making our way down. When we got to the bottom, my mom kept going toward the door, but I felt like I was being watched, so I turned around and looked up the center of the spiral staircase to the top of the lighthouse. Looking back at me, leaning over the very top railing, was a solid black figure with two bright eyes. I turned to call my mom over to see, and when I looked back up a split second later it was gone. I RAN out that door😂 The last one, I went to a very haunted house in Savannah, GA. It’s on Abercorn st, has a lot of history, and is known for being very haunted. I snapped a photo of the front of the house, then we moved on to other sites. When I went back through my photos, there’s a very clear little girl in a window. You can even see her face, she’s making a super creepy expression. The place is unoccupied, it was under renovation but the workers quit & left all their tools behind because one of them said a little girl pushed him down the stairs. I don’t think it’s really a little girl in that house.
