2023-03-27 16:09:39 +0000 UTC(well in Lucas' case there was never an official statement that the sexual assault allegations were false, i think. they simply put him on hiatus for like 2 years and now it looks like he'll be back because he started posting selfies with the ceo and videos from the practice room. but detective fans have somehow traced back the allegations and found out what happened and that it's not true, i think. it's a complicated story. but i assume, if it was true, he would've been kicked out like in all other cases)

2023-03-27 09:57:59 +0000 UTCI've been into Kpop for 15 years. There's scandals about artists being mistreated that are pretty well documented in English. (For example recently Omega X sued their company because they were being abused by their manager and stuff. There was even a video fans filmed on their US tour, where the manager hit one of the members. Maybe that would be worth reading up on.) When it comes to tea about individual idols and their scandals, it's a little harder since they are trying to keep their image squeaky clean if they don't wanna be kicked out of the group. I imagine in Korean forums you'd be able to find a lot more tea than on the English speaking internet. But there's definitely some juicy stories that have been reported on in international Kpop media and that are very well documented by fans on twitter. For example: Lucas of NCT, Ravn of Oneus (both of them were accused of sexual assault among other things, then it turned out the allegations were false but they did some other not so nice stuff), The whole Burning Sun scandal and Seungri (good luck, that's a whole ride. And he was just recently released from prison), and the secret chat scandal where some male idols shared illegally filmed sex videos with each other which resulted in all of them being kicked out from their groups (Jonghyun of CN Blue, Jonghoon of FT Island, Junhyung of Beast). Other than that, there's always some drug scandals going on. Sometimes it's harder drugs (such as right now with actor Yoo Ah In), but usually it's idols smoking weed and ending up in prison for it because it's illegal in Korea (examples: Yoochun of JYJ, Ilhoon of BTOB). When it comes to idol life and the things they go through as trainees, there are some ex-trainees and ex-idols who have youtube channels now, where they share the tea. (examples: soobeanie_, RilacCoco, GRAZY GRACE, they all have some good juicy videos). Another deep dive you could do, is the crazy dieting culture in Kpop. There are lot of "kpop diets" out there, where (usually female) idols shared how little they eat and it's insane. (google the IU diet). There's a lot of youtube videos and articles about these diets. Yes they were similar concept wise but also sitting at a empty table isn’t the most original motif idk. I do remember when she was selling/ making vintage style lampshades and posting about weaving so she does seem like she’s always had artsy/rich girl jobs

He did a special where he visited my company in like 2007 and read them for filth about how stale & depressing the work environment was, that it actually made the CEO change the entire company aesthetic to be more inviting! Now they put so much emphasis on design, they even let me paint a shovel for our factory groundbreaking ceremony that the CEO held (and I got a LinkedIn shouts out from the exec that was in the Conan the tour!) 😍 you can find it on YouTube, ‘Conan visits Intel’. Everyone at work talks about how pivotal it was to the culture 😂

He gives me guncle energy. Also I LOVE nest indigo!! If you want sampler sets I’d also suggest the commodity fragrances sample sets. They sell different potencies as well which is really nice since so many scents are either too strong or too weak.
