Oceangate Jumpscare! I can't decide whether to release this on youtube...
Added 2024-10-17 21:56:33 +0000 UTCAlright so unfortunately I've had to delay the Viggen video until next week. But since the Coastguard hearings, I get a lot of comments on youtube asking for a second video on Oceangate.
I said I was never going to do that.....but something kind of flipped in my head this week. So, for some unknown reason I wrote and recorded a script in the past couple of days. I'm on the verge of adding 'slides' (along with the missing visuals I refer to in the audio) and releasing it on Youtube tomorrow. Is this a stupid idea?
I always assume most (if not all) of you guys are here for my actually good videos. But if I never release this on youtube, you still get to hear it.

2024-10-17 23:31:49 +0000 UTChahaha the 'common point of failure' wasn't even meant to be a joke. Now that you point it out it sounds hilarious. It feels a bit 'cheap' to do another Oceangate video. But if nothing else, I am so done hearing people say you can't use carbon fiber composite in compression so I feel like i need to do my part to push back.

2024-10-17 22:33:13 +0000 UTCI see no reason to not release it since all it takes to finish is a powerpoint presentation (or at least a movie magic video editing program version of one). It's informative, interesting and it nicely finishes the Oceangate "Saga". Not to mention calling Stockton Rush as "common point of failure" is just too good to hide here.
