This week in progress for Sunday, June 20th, 2021. Actually it's Monday, because I'm posting this at 2am Monday morning. I have comic progress for Barley's New Campaign and a couple work in progress paintings of a surrealist nature.

Barley's preparing the giant horse dong for some plowing while starting to get into the role he wants to play with Colt. Dripping with character, the both of them.

Now these two images are a special project that started with the purchase of a new screen. Which means a new desktop image. I wasn't content to just go find some fancy image, I needed something custom. This need completely high-jacked my attention this week and I've spent hours on these two.

This first one is kind of odd, it's meant to stretch across two screens, one is a 1920x1080 display in portrait orientation. The other is a 1440p screen in standard orientation, which combined makes a really irregular resolution image, at 3640x1920. It's a surreal image of an inside of a head-tower, full of creatures looking out. The face seen in profile is my own. The scene to the left is a kind of double horizon. Like two very close planets. It's much less developed than the other image, mostly because it's more complicated and difficult to set up. I'm still masking areas of the image in preparation.

The other image however was very easy to mask and a few hours work away from being entirely done. This image is made to be related to the left side of the first wallpaper, but distinct in its content. It has the same two-planet with a spikey horizon, but goes off somewhere else. The explorer of this strange micro-macro landscape was inspired by a couple podcasters whose work I have been leaning on lately for my own sanity.
