Hi folks. The next video is almost complete - we're just waiting on the renders for the 3D animations to finish. Renders for my videos usually take more than a day of compute time, so with any luck I'll be able to post a completed 'pre-general release' video here this Sunday...possibly Monday depending on how busy I am this weekend with the family.
It's going to be my longest video yet: 1hr 10 mins. I try to keep them to about 1 hour usually. I'll add members names at the end - if you want something different to your display name here (or indeed wish to be omitted) please just message me to let me know.
Until then, here is a photo of a Minuteman missile undergoing a 'tethered test'. Literally tied to the ground with a huge cable (left of photo) to stop it flying away....as the guidance system hadn't been built yet. In fact, it was tethered in this manner to ensure it impacted nose first so the engines would survive and could be studied post flight.
