I was repotting some stuff today and since late winter I noticed these little trees growing in a couple of my pots. I assumed they were all callery pear seedlings since we get them all over the place. there was a total of five seedlings and I didn't notice right away since I was distracted but 4 of them were actually pecan trees. right before winter the squirrels in my yard had been burying pecans...

coneflowers {echinacea} ; perennial; part of the daisy family. Zones varies but mostly range from zones 3-9. Can grow anywhere from 2-5' high depending on species. 👀peep the pollen on the first pic
