My house made it, somehow.
Remediation is expensive and insurance ain’t covering shitttt, and due to smoke damage on just about every item I own, I have to throw out just about everything. Couch, mattress, towels, most absorbent things, plastic, uncoated wood, etc etc.

My Hometown of Altadena, ca has burnt completely to the ground in the Eaton fire. I’ve been displaced for a week now, and for the foreseeable future.
