In case you haven't seen, D&DDC has been discontinued. I feel I owe it to explain, at least in part, my reasoning for this.
1. The current state of Wabbajack's interactions with Lovers Lab are less than desirable. It used to be that Wabbajack was capable of using new versions of updated mods to continue to serve a modlist. This is no longer the case, making the act of keeping a list c...

Have you tried peppermint mocha creamer? It's delicious, highly recommended.
Weirdly enough, LS is the list that I feel doesn't really need an update at the moment. There are probably some bugs we could fix but I don't think there's any really pressing ones that call for an update anytime soon. So, enjoy the list and feel free to start a long playthrough. Now's as good time as...

I swear I don't mean to go this long between posts. It just kinda happens.
Anyway, Living Skyrim 3.6.0 is coming on November 6th. It's going to be a bug fix update. All the bugs. Every last one. Internally we've been calling it The Exterminatus Update. Silly, perhaps. But accurate. The goal is to clear out as many bugs on the LS Github as possible. I don't plan to add, remove, or replace...

Hi.
Living Skyrim 3.5.0 is under active development, I've got it in the hands of the devs, and most notably, JaxomofRuatha. If you're not familiar with Jaxom, they're the CEO of Hotel Rule 11. The last time Jaxom helped me put together an update, LS2 got a whole slew of new goodies. I'm happy to report that this is going to be the case again. I can say with certainty that 3.5.0 is going t...

Sip.
Let's talk modlists.
LS3 is doing very well. There's some minor bugs that need to be addressed, but I feel like overall the list is in a good spot. I'm going to hold off updating it for a little while - now's a good time to start a long playthrough if you were trying to wait for the next update.
D&DDC will be updated by the end of the week. It's going to be a...

This past weekend I brought home my first child, and she is every bit as precious as you can imagine.
That said, it's been a pretty exciting month so far and we're only about halfway through. LS 3.4.0 has been awesome so far and we're keeping tabs on the issues rolling in for that. Thankfully it's nothing too major and the transition to the new mods we're using has been relatively seamles...

Coffee's good today, thanks for asking. How's yours?
LS 3.3.1 is coming soon, fixing most of the bugs that got introduced with 3.3.0 or had to be pushed back because 3.3.0 was so huge. Maybe this week, possibly early next week at the latest.
D&DDC release was a resounding success. 2.1.0 is slated for late next week to fix bugs, refine the list further, and maybe add some new stu...

I've mostly been trying to keep my head down, but there's a lot happening in the Wabbajack and related modding communities at the moment. It's nearly impossible to not get involved.
That said, I have nothing to say about what's happening. I'm allergic to drama and firmly in the camp of "what will happen, will happen." I feel no need to add my opinion to the storm that's rag...

It's been a while since my last update, and a lot has changed since then. Time to get everyone up to speed.
If you've been following along on Discord, you know that I had a bit of a rough time being able to push updates to my lists. That has come and gone - I start a new job very soon that will allow me to remain home and continue working on my lists in my spare time. That means we're bac...

Living Skyrim 3 is doing well. I just pushed the 3.1.1 update yesterday and aside from slight mishaps with the MCMs, things seem to be trending towards good. I expect the 3.2.0 update to come sometime later this month or possibly early in May. We'll see.
MOISE and Atelier are also fine. Atelier is (still) overdue for an update, but that's coming in a couple of weeks.
No...

The release of Living Skyrim 3 was a huge success. Since it released, it has had over 2000 completed installations, averaging over 100 completed installs on the days it’s been available to install. That’s a fantastic number. We are hard at work on the 3.1.0 update and I expect to to have that ready in the next few days. This update will bring an absolute boatload of bug fixes as well as som...

Pic related.
LS3 Beta 4 is coming soon. I’m in a bit of a tight spot in terms of being able to access my PC, so I’m writing this instead at the moment. Without going into too much detail, my PC will be unusable until later today. Once it’s back up and running, there’s going to be a pretty large push to get everything that Beta 4 needs done. Expect more bug fixes, possibly some mod...

Well, since I’ve got nothing better to do while I wait for DynDOLOD and friends to run for four hours, here we are.
The Living Skyrim 3 Beta has gone a lot more smoothly than I ever could’ve hoped. Yes, there have been bugs, but nothing that has outright prevented the game from working. Usually it’s just an out of place mesh or a weird mod interaction here and there. There’s the o...

Anyway, the LS3 Beta is happening on Monday, February 1st. We’re 95% ready for it. I have just one or two more things that I want to get done and I’ll be able to compile and upload it. As with previous betas, it will not be available through the Wabbajack UI but it will be available for anyone to download and play. We’re exp...

Today I compiled the third alpha for Living Skyrim 3. We are officially on schedule for a February 1st beta, so it's time to give some details regarding that since it's a little over a week away. 10 days away, to be precise.
The beta will be an open one. Anyone will be able to download and play it. The goal of the beta is to hunt down the bugs that we've missed while working on the list. ...

On June 1st 2020, we launched the beta for Living Skyrim 2 - a complete rebuild of Living Skyrim from the ground up to take everything that was in the list and crank it up to 11.
Since then, Living Skyrim 2 has been updated 19 times, whether it be to fix bugs, keep the list installable, or add/remove mods as needed. It's come a long way since then.
But the time has come to stop look...

I hope you all had a great holiday season, no matter what holiday it may have been.
I have compiled and uploaded the second Alpha for Living Skyrim 3, we're working on it diligently and are so far on track to have the Beta ready at the beginning of February. No other noteworthy news to report on that front.
And, similarly, no news to report for MOISE.
Dungeons & Deviousnes...

I want to talk about burnout, expectations, and hobbies tonight. If you’re just here for an update on LS3, here’s the short version: It’s delayed. Probably until the end of February, maybe even into March. We’ll see.
If you’re here for the ramblings of a madman or the long version of that update, keep reading.

I compiled the pre-alpha build of LS3 this morning. It is an abomination, but we're going to fix that. The real work is beginning now. We are, at the moment, still on schedule with the timeline I laid out in the roadmap.
MOISE is due for an update at some point in the near future, probably not until late in December though.
I have a love-hate relationship with D&...

Also, I’ve launched a new website. It’s great. Check it out:

Hi.
Living Skyrim 3 is well under way. I am slightly ahead of schedule on the timeline, but there's still a lot to be done. At the moment I'm working on the pre-alpha, which is basically a non-functional version of the list that needs patching, merges, and other changes to get everything working. You can think of the pre-alpha as the "downloading mods" step of building a list. That said, ...

Living Skyrim 3 is coming.

It’s been a bit since I’ve done one of these. There’s a lot to talk about, especially regarding Living Skyrim, so strap in.
As you’ve probably seen, LS has been under maintenance for a while. The reason for this is pretty straightforward: Bijin AIO got rolled into another mod on Nexus. While technically I could just update the list to use the “new” version, I have some other i...

More weeks, more coffee.
The short version? LS 2.4.1 soon. D&D 1.1.1 soon. MOISE unchanged.
The long version? We're in a holding pattern, basically. Bug fixes and mod updates, mainly. I don't have anything crazy planned for existing lists for a while.
I'll admit I don't have a whole lot to talk about at the moment. I want to work on something new, but don't have...

Another couple of weeks, another cup of coffee.
Living Skyrim is getting an update later this week. Expect that to be out sometime this weekend (9/19 or 9/20). As usual, more bug fixes and possibly a couple of mod additions. It's been about 2 weeks since my last post about the modlists. In that time, MOISE was updated to v1.2.0 and Dungeons & Deviousness has been submitted to become an official list on the Wabbajack UI. Good times!
MOISE's update was primarily to bring in some things that the list didn't have access to until just recently. Morrowind Modding History is a great site with a lot of mods for M...

After getting several requests to set this up, here we are. I don't really offer anything special for signing up, this is mainly just for the people who want to buy me a cup of coffee on occasion. Living Skyrim will not (and cannot ever be) paywalled, so... yeah. Sign up, or don't. Either way I'll keep maintaining the list and pushing updates as needed.
