IDW penciller Adam Bryce Thomas introduced Lanolin's mother in a throwaway sketch as an inside look in Lanolin's family life. It's still considered unofficial as there aren't plans made to look more into Lanolin's personal life in the IDW Sonic publication. At least as of now.

There's a flashback cat character in Archie Sonic that looked vaguely like Hershey and is loosely implied to be her mother by readers, but there's never been an official statement or even in-comic disposition that made it clear.
