Progress on this guy is moving along pretty well ^.^  Since the last update, I got the retopology done on the character model, built the materials, and just wrapped up work on his fur! (Although I'll probably continue to tweak the fur for quite a while yet LOL).

I've been working really hard on this guy, and I think we have Gaussly's fur and materials nearly complete!

A lot of credit goes to Fox for creating the skin material, which uses subsurface scattering to make the exposed flesh parts look as realistic as possible.

So, this guy has been a tricky one to rig.  I had to come up with a way to make the legs detachable, but also allow them to seamlessly act as part of his main body up until the point where they may need to be detached.
