The animation have finally finished rendering and the document that contains all the frames is now 98GB+, kind of didn't expect it to be that large.
These will then be imported into a video editor program, which converts them to a sequence, as all the frames have a frame number suffix.

I did some retiming of the animation as it felt a bit too fast, even though I’ve animated large chunks after reference video. For example, the hands should use a bit more time to slide over the sides of the body. Other moves needed more time to match the heavy body.

This is a quick update on the Maya animation.
Instead of blocking everything out first and then refine it afterward, I think I'll try to block out and then refine parts of the animation instead.
This method seems to work well to troubleshoot physics errors caused by too aggressive or tight movements (like hands that take a direct path through the body mesh to get on the other side)....

The fur was tricky to do, I always had trouble with fur grooming as it ended up being uneven and patchy or bleed into areas where it wasn’t supposed to be. Or the fur near thin surfaces like the ears would get sucked through.
