HWS+ Closed Patron Beta Server

Good Morning Dear HWS Patrons,

first of all, please let me say a big THANK YOU for being with us, supporting us and making all of this even possible! Without you, all the new things, a 6 year legacy, would not exist.
We appreciate it a lot!!

This post should inform you about the upcoming big HWS+ release, we are working on since 1 year.

As I mentioned here and there, I want to give you, our generous HWS Patrons the benefit of getting a hand on HWS+ before the others by hosting a Closed Patron Beta server.

However, some information are still lacking about it, so I wanted to clarify few things in this post.

First of all, this server will be completely separate.
By that I mean it's one server for testing specific things and the progress you do on that server will not be transferred over to the HWS+ EU/NA servers, once they will be released - that would be a too unfair advantage I think.
Still, if time allows, maybe a nice one-time goodie might work to appreciate your time, helping test the HWS+ Scenario.

In terms of testing there is 1 main core mechanic I would like to see tested by you.
The new EWS² system. I was indeed a bit too ambitious with a 7-layer Rock-Paper-Scissor matrix but over time, I think it provides the most in-depth and fun game-play possible.
For testing EWS² you need of course the resources / structures. To help with that we activate commands to boost you up, so you don't have to bother with the gathering process.
For the structures there is only the Creative Mode that lets you create structures efficiently fast. Since we can't implement that on the test server, my plan is to release a HWS+ Creative Scenario on the Workshop / Github again.

So in terms of testing, please verify if the advertised rock-paper-scissor system works right. For example Aqua beats Pyro. Check the Meta abilities. For example Obsidian weapons do Device damage to any material. And that all weapons / blocks / effects are working for you.
Any feedback about them is welcome too of course.

Please note that nothing is set to stone what you find and it is the perfect time to make adjustments with your help, before release!

In terms of test duration and the final release date it depends on few factors to be honest.
First of all, I would appreciate as much feedback as possible, since this is a total new, revolutionary addition to Empyrion. So the more feedback, the better the quality and faster the full release.

But to proceed your feedback and continue working still on some advanced Story elements of HWS+ more time is needed. For now I plan with Early 2022, which can range from January till March.

Last but not least, how will it actually work? When?

The HWS+ Closed Patron Beta Server will be password protected.
The password will be "HWSPlusPatronCB".
Please do NOT share this password outside here! It would be a waste of time for all of us, when I have to add another routine to check the players on that Closed server and kick out all Non-Patrons, because you shared the password with non-patrons. 

Non-Patrons are not really excluded since the HWS+ Creative Scenario will follow shortly public anyways. They can do their tests and send me feedback on their own.

I try to start the HWS+ CPB Server on Sunday, 26th December 2021.
