Localized Character Damage Project Files (UE 4.27)

Hey!

I hope you all are doing well. Here's a small UE project that I didn't originally planned to release but the files were gathering dust on my hard drive and I felt like the technique used here was worth sharing and so I spent a bit of time to clean the project to hopefully make it as educational as possible.

It shows one of the possible way to interactively paint a texture on an animated skeletal mesh and it's built in such a way that it is quite easy to setup for multiple characters. It's possibly useful for damage map and such but I'll let you guys be the judge of that :)

Note however that this, for now, doesn't work in UE5! This is due to a bug in a feature that I actually need for this effect, namely the additive mode of the scene capture component. It's been bugged for a while in UE5 as far as I know, we'll have to wait for Epic to fix this I guess.

The project includes two Paragon characters for demonstration purpose (licensed as UE-content only by Epic) and so the project weighs a bit too much for Patreon! Here's a google drive link to the zip file instead: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MJP70hO77AOWT4ubFmHPZBwXnBxGDXJN/view?usp=sharing
