Cyberpunk 2077: Exotics - Version 0.99

Edit: I've uploaded a new version that should fix a crash occurring in Dogtown

Ok! This version should hopefully fix all of the issues people have been experiencing since 2.0/PL, including the stretchy NPC bug.  Note that, for existing saves, you may need to visit a ripperdoc and re-select your skin color option to avoid problems with the cyber arms.  Also, apparently, the CookedApps_Nulled mod is no longer required for the NPC appearances to work correctly.

This should hopefully be the final version before the public release- I just need to do a bit of extra bug testing and tie up a few loose ends for 1.0.  There are a few features left that I never got around to implementing, but rather than keep delaying the release, I think I need to just call it done for now.

That said, after the next anthro mod, I'll definitely put up a poll with an option to return to Cyberpunk and add new features.

Thanks! Yes, to use custom fur textures, you'll want to download a mod editor called WolvenKit from https://github.com/WolvenKit/WolvenKit-nightly-releases/releases/tag/8.11.0-nightly.2023-10-08. Use that to create a new mod, then copy over whatever textures you want to edit from my mod using the asset browser with "mod browser" selected. Most of the textures can be found in base\characters\exoticsco\, although some are in base\characters\common\player_base_bodies\player_female_average\jaguar\textures\. Once the textures have been added to your mod, you can use the Export Tool and Import Tool to convert them to and from an editable format.

Awesome! I've been looking for an Exotics mod for a LOOONG time, finally found you and its amazing quality! Though I must ask, is there anyways to mod it for our own custom textures/fur patterns? If not some sort of method to do so?

The idea for the FO4 mod would be that animal hybrids were an early super-soldier program that was cancelled by the military in favor of the super-mutant program. Like the Cyberpunk mod, it would include a few different species options for the player, as well as anthro NPCs scattered throughout the world. Regarding Hitman- it's an amazing series, though unfortunately not very mod friendly. I don't think adding anthros there would be doable, I'm sorry to say.

I'm not currently planning on adding draconic exotics, although I may revisit Cyberpunk after the next anthro mod to add new features like that.

because you have planns to include Fallout 4 as an option what would you do there for the mod also for your next mod in the poll can you include Hitman 3 as an option

Out of curiosity, will we be getting the draconic style exotics or no? I see ads for them in the game due to the mod but based upon all the other given options and me not seeing any mention of them here I would assume not but figured I'd ask

yes Any fast travel to Dog town was causing the crash. Not tested the other fast travel points outside of Dog town however.

Most of the options from the previous poll at https://www.patreon.com/posts/patron-poll-mod-78155758 will still be available. Also, Starfield will be an option, though I'm not sure how far I could get before the modding tools are released next year- if it's selected, I may need to pause the development partway pending that and switch working on a different mod. I'm also planning to include Fallout 4 as an option, as well as Age of Wonders. Also, I'm open to suggestions- though keep in mind that this kind of mod is only really possible for certain games.

hmm, I'm on 2.0 (not 2.01) and have not experienced any crashing myself. The only bug I have noticed has been that Panam's fingernails, specifically only on her right hand, are floating off to the side, her left nails, and teeth however, are in the proper position or invisible.

I too am crashing since updating to .99 will revert to .95 to see if this resolves it. Edit: Reverting to .95 resolved the fast travel crashing for me.

Thanks for the mod. However, I am on 2.0 (with Phantom Liberty) and I had to revert back to .95 because this version kept crashing my game.

The texture of the mantis blades on the black panther skin are broken while in a vehicle, they have been for a while. This update hasn't fixed it.

First of all, I love this mod. One of the main reason I'm replaying Cyberpunk on top of PL.Extremely minor, but is it possible to fix an issue where certain thin shoes have the toe clip through? Maybe a version with plantigrade feet, that's just wishful thinking. Not sure if that's even a thing that can be done, or if this is the place for that... either way, amazing mod! <3

Thanks for providing that. I've narrowed the crash down to female homeless exotic NPCs in Dogtown- and while I have no idea what about those NPCs is causing the crash, I've uploaded a new version of the mod with just those NPCs disabled at: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1FHe5d-HUc0CVP0fLR7Wl08-uHgAm7cM_/view?usp=sharing .

Just tried that, didn't help, still crashes. I should mention that I was not using the background NPCs archive before due to the stretchy models, only the main and side characters.

Could you try making a new saved game with the background NPCs archive disabled, then re-enable it, load the new save, and see if the issue still happens?

Hmm, just installed this version and now the game crashes moments after I load a save and start moving for a bit. Deleted the background NPCs archive and that fixed it, feels like it was trying to load some bugged NPC file as I was driving
