2022-09-24 06:33:23 +0000 UTC"This is how you save me" & so on. Love this episode for that. It does a real justice to how much turmoil Sam is feeling and, as much as Dean cares, he is contributing a good amount sadly. He treats Madison different from Sam, and Sam knows it, too.

2022-07-23 23:37:27 +0000 UTCIt breaks my heart, that parallel between Sam and Madison, the "you don't have to be a monster" and Sam fighting her to keep living only for Dean and her to convince him -- that he needs to kill her. It's this sense that he needs to accept his own death eventually as well, and there are so many parallels in the phrasing, oof. Also, I adore Madison as a character.

Still, the brothers lead the kind of life where they can't handle even the possibility that something supernatural might kill more people on their watch.
