State of Undead Legacy 2.7

Just like before with Alpha 21, I've been asked many times on various social platforms about what's going to happen with Undead Legacy now that 7 Days to Die v1.0 has been released.

Work on porting Undead Legacy 2.7 to 7 Days to Die v1.0 is already underway, and there will be no release for A21. Instead, 2.7 will be released for v1.0 whenever it's ready.

Why? Simple. The Alpha 21 version is already outdated, just as A20 was when A21 came out. There is no point in continuing work for an older version of the game because a lot of things might not function correctly or could be broken for v1.0. Therefore, it's crucial to move on and focus on what's ahead instead of staying behind with an older version of the game.

As before, it's hard to estimate exactly how much time will be required to port 2.7 to v1.0 and eventually release it, but I hope to get UL 2.7 experimental out sometime in 2024. Please be patient and don't be upset if things don't go as planned. It's a solo project, and all the hard work of making UL 2.7 ready for public release is in my own hands.

Regarding how I will deal with Equipment changes introduced by vanilla v1.0, this is currently unknown. Most likely, 2.7 will be released with minimal changes to how Armor works, but there are plans to improve upon that in the future, possibly adding more Equipment slots. Clothing, however, is not coming back.
