Progress Report 27.04.2025

Hello!

After a hard couple of weeks, I have finally come to a decision I am happy with. The progress is good, however I’ve spent most of the week on animations, so you’ll have to wait for more renders.

I’ve switched up the priorities again and decided to work way more in the game engine first, improving and fixing what’s possible rather than saving it for 3rd party apps. This way I can cook a lot of renders again!

Of course, I didn’t completely remove it from my workflow, but I think it’s better to leave it mostly as an optional polish rather than a necessity. Also, I am no longer stopping after each render. I’ll leave the app work for the end when I’ll know which renders are best to improve.

The other good thing about it all is that working in it helped me train my eye when looking for issues. So it’s easier to spot them in the game engine already and do additional work and fix them there.

Turns out the easy way out that I picked before wasn’t that easy after all...

So yeah, the camera work and dynamic poses are back!

Hopefully next week I’ll come back with moar renders finally because I missed big numbers myself.

Also, I wanted to thank you for your support and ideas on how to deal with these struggles throughout it all. I appreciate your understanding and help!
