As I was writing the code, I realized I wasn’t very happy with how Lucy’s scenes turned out.
First of all, she looks way worse than I remembered - shadows were scuffed, and other issues were present.

The reason this happened - the reason I fumbled so badly for the first time is mainly because of the new map I used. The way lighting works on it is different from other maps. I knew it was different, but I didn’t realize it was that bad. As I worked with the map, I got better and better, so looking back at these renders put some things into perspective.
Going back to it allowed me to apply a slightly changed Lucy model and new things I’ve learned. Characters now pop more, and the overall lighting looks better.
I might’ve been a bit too optimistic with the February date, but it’s still on the table. Who knows how things will go in the future? The visual issues were only present at the beginning, so I don’t expect any more reworks.
Anyway...
