Hello!
The year may have ended, but the grind hasn't. 😁 As the game improves visually, it becomes clearer and clearer that if I want to keep improving, more and more time is required to spend on renders. Positioning characters, lighting the scene, and adding props is one thing (or three), but making sure that everything is properly lit and the shadows look good in the whole picture requires making a lot of renders and then working on them in another post-processing app.
In the end, it all comes down to time. At the moment, I'm not sure if it's going to have an impact on the release schedule, but if there’s one thing I want to do, it's to keep improving. Maybe releasing fewer renders and making characters move less is the play - I’m not sure yet.
Anyway...
In 0.3.5, you’ll see a comeback of the goofy humor you saw in 0.1, so I hope you enjoyed it! If not, then you’ll just have to fight through it, I guess. I believe in you!
Here’s what I’ve done this week:
150+ renders
Thanks for reading, and until next time!
