Lately, I've been thinking about my Patreon—whether I should improve it and, if so, how I could improve it.
A lot of other creators tend to make polls about every single thing, which I would love to do myself. However, I believe in my creative vision the most, and I don't want to do things that I don't personally believe in. My heart just wouldn't be in it.
At the beginning, I wanted to post abandoned renders and animations. Now, after a couple of months, I've realized that if there are renders that were abandoned, it means I don't like them. Why would I post stuff I don't like? There are moments when I think it's interesting to showcase some—whenever my vision has changed and I've decided not to use them. Most of the time, though, they end up in the trash because I just make better ones.
Two (?) weeks ago, I posted an animation that I didn't use, and I want to keep posting those whenever I have them. I just won't have a stable supply of them. There are some animations on my SSD that I'd love to upload, but I'm afraid they could hurt the story experience. For example, I made an animation where..

Lucy worships Mia's feet as a "vision/fantasy/or whatever you want to call it". It would happen right after Mia asks Lucy to kiss her foot, if you recall this moment. 😅 I don't think it would be a great idea to see such a scene on Patreon, or would it?

Since we're here... a bit of off-topic. Would you like to see such a scene? Not this exact one, but you know, like a vision or a dream? Do you think it could kill the anticipation for it to happen in real time, or would that excite you even more?
Getting back to the topic at hand...
I'd like to keep sharing additional renders, like the Valerie one, at a more consistent rate. Simply because I find doing them weirdly relaxing. It also helps me break the pace of making the game and just do something else.
Other than that, are you happy with my current posts? Maybe you have ideas for how I could improve them?
Even though this post is mainly aimed at paid patrons, maybe there are free members who would like to join if there was some specific content you'd like to see?

I think polls are good when you want to know how things are being received and what people would prefer to see. That being said, you would have to be aware of the boundaries between what people “want” and what you want to do. Even if your patreon got flooded with people who would want you to shift tone towards a more romantic rendition of the game that likely wouldn’t be something you would want to do or enjoy working on. So tl dr: Use polls if you have trouble deciding something for yourself or if you genuinely want input on something specific. When it comes to renders I personally would definitely like to see abandoned content simply out of curiosity but I don’t think it’s something you need to put too much thought or effort into. Do as you wish ^^

2024-11-27 17:02:42 +0000 UTCThat's an interesting point of view. I think posting abandoned things can help me out with testing the waters when I'm not exactly confident in them. Then I could do something similar in the future. But if someone just doesn't want to see it (which is understandable), I'll make sure to label such content properly. About Lucy – I didn't want to force too much dominant content on players who came here for the second path. I already did, since it's important to the story, but I figured I can't really go overboard with it.

The biggest reason I don't want to pay yet is because I'm waiting to see how you'll handle the different routes, but even if I do end up liking them enough to pay, I wouldn't go past the first tier membership because I wouldn't want to see abandoned content in case I end up really enjoying it and wishing it was in the game. Speaking of, I actually was hoping to see Mia make Lucy kiss her foot as part of her power flexing, but that scene got cut short in the game.

2024-11-25 19:38:38 +0000 UTCMy personal opinions: I dont like when a creator put up polls for every minor thing like someones Hair/Nail color it gets annoying I would love to see the abanodned/aditional renders but not ones that would spoil the next update regardeless of the concistency of the uploads Regarding Visions/Dream scenes i think if done correctly they can be good but they should be a tool to build anticipation not diminish it The current style of weekly updates is perfect for me and makes it so i dont have to worry about you up and dissapearing randomly (like some other H-games creators)
