Hi!

Here's a quick dev update.

I'm currently making blockout layouts for two new maps: Outpost (Area 05) and Terminal (Vostok).

Both of these maps are really important for the early access since those are linked to this "dangerous journey" chain of maps to provide a much greater distance to the Border Zone.

This chain of maps will go like this:
Village -> School -> Outpost -> Border Zone
or with alternative route:
Village -> Highway -> Outpost -> Border Zone
or with that sea route:
Village -> Island -> Border Zone -> Terminal (Vostok)

I currently have quite a good progress especially with the Outpost but it's a tricky map since it has multiple "sub-terrain" bunkers and it's also linked to certain areas related to Grandma's house / cabin.

Starting next week I will share some screenshots of these blockouts before I start adding the actual map details and props, so it's a same process that I showcased a while ago with other new maps.

Then on top of this have been working on few additional things which are a map item, map equipment feature and intro scene when you start a new game. These are important in sense that when you start a new game, I want to provide some level of objective and "mental map" of the game world, so the player can figure out certain routes and what those might require (like boats etc.) without telling that directly.

In terms of rest of the maps, I do have a bunch of things ready for the Highway and Island, so if I can manage to make a lot of progress for these two maps (Outpost and Terminal) next month, then the early access timeline is looking quite promising for the potential launch windows that I have in mind.
