Djinn Digging a Fox Den
Added 2023-04-27 20:14:50 +0000 UTCTo accompany the photos from last post, here's the video of Djinn digging his fox den during one of our walks. It was quite sunny, so Djinn had a great view from his selfmade home.
If you're wondering about the strange way the fur on his back is looking: he's starting to shed and foxes are a bit weird when shedding. So every year, Djinn gets bald spots where he looses his winter coat, but does not yet has his summer coat. Extra taurine, bathing and brushing help only a tiny bit. But he will look super handsome again in a month... I think ;)

It takes him about half an hour to dig something he can fit into. After that, he starts to widen the den and tries to tear off any roots that are in his way. After 45 minutes, he quits and sits down to enjoy his view, feeling very proud of himself.
