T3D | Version 1.2. Introducing TOP to T3D
Added 2024-06-14 16:29:08 +0000 UTCThis version includes minor bug fixes but most significantly:
Introducing TOP to T3D - An easy and versatile way to convert any TOP to T3D.
Comes with two modes:
1. Time Based - similar to Texture 3D TOP, but newest slice is always in the front
2. Plane - Places the 2D TOP as a plane in the T3D. You can set it's thickness, size etc.
Improvements to T3D_Point_Cloud:
T3D_Point_Cloud let's you render any TOP as a point cloud into a T3D. I recommend to use a noise TOP with 32bit RGBA and none monochrome to understand it.
It now has an option to only set the resolution of the longest axes, the rest will be set up accordingly.

With this weather 🌦️ in Berlin is the right time to analyse deeply your work!! You made me think about 3d textures for many applications …. I would like to make a modelling tools based on your render(magical material) and render piking… model a shape save ->save it on a 3d texture layer than blend among them. I am not really sure i understand how create geometry with just a 32bit mono …. Very curious !!! Also how do you get those normal value for lighting ??? Looks magical 🧙♂️… time to learn!!!!!!

2024-06-19 01:57:49 +0000 UTCregular TOP feedback still works

2024-06-19 01:57:20 +0000 UTCIt has been removed, because it was just a copy of the feedback TOP

2024-06-18 06:41:04 +0000 UTCMy bad Josef! I figured it out by going through your tut to setup the texture. Thanks for your quick responses! Cant wait for more tuts and updates. No need for Houdini with this toy! :P

2024-06-15 23:42:24 +0000 UTCCan you ask this on the Discord, in the community support channel? Short answer: you’ll need to connect something to the input that is a 3D Texture. For example a T3D_shape

2024-06-15 20:26:44 +0000 UTCcan you show me where i can input the 3d texture? newbie at TD. sorry

2024-06-15 20:15:47 +0000 UTCSounds like you didn’t have a 3D texture as an input to the T3D operator

2024-06-15 17:08:39 +0000 UTCIt should. Although the point_cloud works additive on windows, which OSX doesn’t support. Let me know if you get any issues
