The transfer of Craig (and signing off)
Added 2022-01-24 00:25:42 +0000 UTCThose who've been paying attention on the Craig Discord server know that I've decided to pass Craig on to new maintainers. The most sticky and weird part of this is Patreon. The Patreon will continue, and for most patrons, nothing will change.
If you're a long-term patron (started patronage before September 1st 2021) and are interested in ecastr.com, the offer still stands that long-term patrons get ecastr.com subscriptions. Follow the instructions on https://www.patreon.com/posts/55062604 . If you've already done that, you may have noticed that in ecastr.com, your subscription has an end date. It is not my intention for the subscription to actually end—as long as you remain a patron of Craig, you can continue to have that subscription on ecastr.com—but, as I will no longer hold the Patreon, I cannot automate that. When you're coming near your ecastr.com subscription's expiry, just contact me via any of the contact methods at ecastr.com/contact and I'll extend it.
If you specifically want to support me, rather than the ongoing development and maintenance of Craig, then obviously the best way is to get a subscription on ecastr.com. After transferring this Patreon, I won't have one, at least for the time being.
For those who are patrons to help maintenance and development of Craig, you don't need to do anything. All rewards will be retained, etc.
The Patreon will be transferred on or around February 2nd (basically, after they've given the last tax documents that apply to me), so if you respond to this after then, I won't see it. Barring some extraordinary incident, this will be my last post on Patreon, and further posts on this Patreon will be from Craig's new maintainers, so thank you all for your support and patronage, and goodbye.
