Thank you for sharing your story, with such confidence and intelligence. I can relate to your some of your experiences. I married young (21, she 19) inside purity culture and we had absolutely no vocabulary or realistic frame of reference to be able to talk about our sexuality, and it was miserable for both of us! Fast forward 20+ years, divorce and deconstruction— sexuality is freed to be so much more open, authentic, exploratory (try things, and if you don’t like it, move on!). I recently dated a woman who did OF/camming (while we were dating) and it was amazing to see how empowering it was for her, and to learn about the range of motives and sexualities of her (mostly male) subscribers. No shame in doing what makes you happy, confident, and strong. Keep telling your story!
