What I Do
Added 2023-05-31 19:12:19 +0000 UTCPeople always ask what I do for a living, and it’s a little hard to explain. Basically, I’m a food blogger. I have websites and I also work for other people with websites. I handle recipe development/testing, styling, photography, and writing articles.
I started this work in 2013 when I began blogging to have something to distract me from my deep depression. Within a year I was making money from my little website. By summer 2014 I had over 500,000 visitors to my site every month. Since then, I’ve slowly turned that experience into a business.
These are all my pictures, however, not at all what I consider my best. In fact, many of these are old and I’ve grown so much as a photographer since. But I had these on my phone for some reason, so that’s what I’m sharing because I don’t want to search for a bunch of pictures on my computer right now. 😆
I am so thankful to be able to do this work because of the flexibility, but it’s exhausting work and I’m stressed to the max often. I’m still very thankful this allowed me to escape my employment with the Assemblies of God and other Christian organizations.
