Hell! Finished.

Hi everybody,

Hell is ready to welcome you! The full release is up and ready to be printed. The aim of the set was to make scatter terrain for an hellish landscape - as well as other rocky battlemats, hence the many alternative versions of the models (versatility is always in mind!).

It is composed of four main parts:

- The Gate to Hell! I went through many designs before sticking with this one, looming, gigantic and foreboding. I imagine these models as a couple of rocks sculpted by magic in the fashion of fiendish hands, which serve as the boundaries where the arcane maelstrom of the portal appears to people who want to cross the boundary between realms. These hands may seem welcoming, but only to the reckless. They are not gentle, and are ready to crush the unworthy or those who defy the lords of Hell.

Flavor aside, the model stands 47 cm tall (18.5 inches) and requires glue to assembly. The supported version is obviously hollowed, but if you feel this centerpiece to be too large you can always re-scale it in the slicer to fit your needs :)

- Blood Pools. Skulls are the best furnishing for the wasteland of wails and despair. And what about blood poured between them to finish up the look?

I really love those, they come in three sizes - the large ones are huuge 12 cm wide (almost 5 inches) - and are meant to be painted and used as they are, or you can pour red tinted resin for water effect to create the perfect khornite pool. Yep, the inspiration is obvious! I think that they also make great diorama and display features for demonic armies - or foes for your ttrpg. They also look great on the battlemat - which is always the main focus :)

They also come with a version without skulls and without the thin sheet of resin below them (which on the other hand is meant to give stability to the single skulls and so that pouring resin is is possible). This second version is there in case you want craters, random rock formations, geyser mouths, pool of acid (which could also use the skulls, just pour yellowish/green resin in!) and so on for your battlemats.

- Hellscape Claw Rocks. A simple set that does what it says: coming in different sizes, in a version with skulls (more Hell!) or without them, once again, for versatility. What about a druid sacred place with an eagle or hawk theme, where this gigantic jagged rock talons were magically erected to celebrate the avian predator the shrine is dedicated to? The larger "claws" can also be used together to create a smaller (and less fiendish) portal on a battlemat.

- Hellscape Battlefield. Last but not least, the remains of a fiendish battlefield. I love the idea of devils and demons fighting against each other in the liminal spaces between the Hells and the Abyss, and I think that a battlefield with insignias and large demonic weapons can sell that idea well and create a memorable encounter. These weapons come in two sizes: designed for huge creatures (balrogs like) and for medium-large creatures (which most armed fiends probably are). You can choose what fits your needs best and print accordingly. I know I particularly like the weirdness in scale, since the skulls on the base of these models are human sized, there is no mistaking the terrible size of those who fought there.

Also, I made an additional set that comes with this set for smaller scatter rocks with skulls - there is never enough variety of small details to add to a battlemat and make terrain interesting for combat :)

Finally, I believe the flags are great for wargame objective markers.

There are also many kitbash files for these sets. You can enrich these models - and any other thing I have ever released, basically - with hell themed details. The chains with dangling runic stones, for example, are designed to be glued as they are, hanging vertically, or they can be heated up and bent to go around other features and terrains.

There are also six three-eyed demon skulls in there, and some vicious blades.

That's it: and that's a wall of text. You can see I was excited about the release! I can't wait to have an arc in Hell for my current campaign, and I hope you like what you see too :)

This was a scatter terrain focused release, which is a great thing to have for this month since the upcoming month will see the Sewers come to life! I have the whole set already sketched up and partially designed with tiles that have a double level of use, so stay tuned for visual updates soon. I'll be posting the poll for March in a few days too.

Thanks a lot for the support! And I wish you a happy hobby time! :D
