Hi everybody,
the first part of the release is done! As I mentioned in the previous post, this structure is huge and highly versatile: you can build a small tower such as the one on top of this render, a larger one such as this main structure or even a more humongous one by stacking a larger base with more tiles. You can also connect it to a fortress-like wall, make a sprawling underground dungeon, and so on. Since it has corners, interior walls, T and X walls, "half towers" and more you can use it to make a very, very large number of structures. The walls are highly detailed, with inscriptions running along the metal and arcane bands that cover most of the walls, and the stone blocks come in different sizes and textures. I'll be making some close up renders once the objects and props are ready, that should make for some eye candy!
I kind of say this every time I make a building with a roof, but it is worth pointing it out: I'd say "you can basically make a whole town in this style out of this set", and it is so, but roofs may be a problem for that project. Modular roofs (that make sense with any structure you can come up with) are a pain to make, and often to print too - if they use the OpenLOCK standard and are print in resin, they take a lot of material, if they are made without the OpenLOCK standard they take longer to design and they tend to warp and require hobby work to make them work. If you want to explore buildings with these tiles that are not tower shaped (and you are not using battlements) I'd suggest you combine this set with one of the modular roofs I made in the past: especially the OpenLOCK ones if you can print them in filament :)
Objects and props are in test printing - I added a few models based on your suggestions - and should be ready shortly.
We also have a winner for November! With 27 votes the Labyrinth will finally see the light of day :D I am really excited about that set since it has been in the works for a long time. I have a lot of ideas regarding it, but if you have any suggestion for objects and props to put in it, don't hesitate to write them below: I'll do my best to include them. I'll be posting the poll for December later this week.
That's it for now! Thanks a lot for the support, and I wish you a happy hobby time :D
