Hi everybody,
the Blueteeth Tribe Camp is up!
The release is made of four parts:
- Large Tents. These circular tents can be used for a variety of encounters. A single one of them can be used as the throne room of a tribe's chief, as a bestial druid abode, a wild land witch hut, or as the shelter for a forge in the wilds. A few of those tents together can be used to create the complete camp of a tribe of any kind of creatures.
The aim for the skins was to make them feel thick and resistant. I picture the orcs living in this camp as hunters of huge beasts - from which they harvest the skins and the massive tusks used to build their homes. They have a patchwork shape which should work really well if painted with slightly different colors to show that these skins come from parts of different specimens. This set comes also with kitbash skin sections that you can heat and bend to create your own tents, of any shape and kind!
As always, there are magnets and channels for easier assembly and playability at the table - as well as a bit of modularity if joined with the second set.
- Small Tents. With these you can make rectangular 3"x1" tents and conical 2.5"x2.5" tipi-like ones. You can also combine the two to make different shapes. These tents have the same skin and tusk design of their larger kin, and they also are designed with playbility in mind (check the instructions for more info).
With these I wanted to give an option to make encounters and map around smaller tribe camps or even single tents with a different, more bestial style than the usual cloth ones. After all, fantasy wild lands can host any kind of vicious beast, and travelers may need a reinforced shelter for the night.
- Objects & Props. Weapons, a large bonfire, drums, bedrolls, column decorations and more! Renders more than words work best to describe objects and props sets, but I wanted to mention that I kind of always put columns in sets because even if they don't make too much sense (e.g. irl these tents wouldn't need extra supports), they are a quick way to give a 3D feel to a battlefield room: just place six of them down at regular intervals and you have a tribal hall!
- Fang Throne & Cages or Wolf Pen. The star of the set, this huge fang throne should make for a great centerpiece for a boss encounter. Maybe the heroes are facing the tribe's chief in a tense negotiation, surrounded by her grunts ready to jump on them at the first false step, maybe they infiltrated the tribe's camp in order to save an NPC, or to steal something, guarded under the very throne of the chief. In any case, this tooth and bone throne will be memorable as it looms over the battlefield.
This part also come with a kitbash set that you can use to customize basically anything in these release. You can glue more fangs and more bones to the tents and you can build new things with them to satisfy your creativity!
I apologize for the delay: as always I do my best to create detailed and working models which I also hope are useful and inspiring. Sometimes creating new textures and test printing models can take a lot more than expected, hence the 20+ days of delay. Well, I hope that result is worth it!
Good news is, I have been working on the next release - Hell! - for a while (as I was test-printing the tents), so it shouldn't be as delayed as this one. I can't wait to show you what I have designed for that theme :) Finally, I'll be posting the poll for February in a couple of days.
That's it for now!
Thanks a lot for another year of support! I wish you a happy hobby time, and holidays too :D
