I'm back with a WIP render of a small part of the Draugar Ruins release. I wanted to give you an idea of the vibe and look of the release while I am developing its vertical and 3D-battlefield elements (bridges, upper floors, etc..).
The idea for the tiles is to have them all be "internal" and designed to be a dungeon - in other words, the OpenLOCK mechanism will be visible on the borders, such as in the render above. That said, while designing them I noticed that in order to make them wide enough to host a sleeping draugar in the alcoves they had to be almost as thick as the tile itself, and that opens up an interesting "border" option that will cover the OpenLOCK base without looking weird. Basically, by printing the borders you'll be able to make a complete structure and not just a dungeon, which is a nice option to have I think :)
Objects, props, draugar and arches are still in production, but they are at a good stage. I'll be releasing a large part of the release (hopefully all of it) next week!
The results for the poll for October's theme are also in, and the Wizard Tower wins by a lot. As always, if you have ideas for objects/props/elements for the release write them below, and I'll do my best to include them in the set!
