April WIP - The Bazar

Hi everybody,

here is a quick WIP of the incoming April Oasis/Bazar release! I wanted to show you the style of the buildings as well as a couple of optional lion (monstrous and stylized) statues that will decor the outside of the structures. The buildings will be completely modular, roofed and with interior walls, so that you'll be able to make oasis outpost, several stories towers and sprawling complex souk-like structures.

Of course you can expect objects and proprs to go with them; I've sketched small sets related to different shops (e.g. spice, carpets, vases, weapons), all in a persian like style to fit the theme of the release. However, there should be useful models even if you don't plan to run anything in that kind of location, since they can be used in any magic or rarity shop/palace/dungeon.

As always, if you have suggestions feel free to write them below :)

The first part of the release - modular structure - should be out before the end of next week. The objects & props should come a short time later.

That's it for now. Thanks a lot for the support, even more so in a slow month such as this one: it really means a lot!

I wish you a happy hobby time :D

Our DnD party just arrived in an island full of bazars!

As for modularity, I would love for things like vendor stalls to be in separate parts. For example, I don't need to print the wooden poles or cloth awnings since you can make those out of dowel rods and scraps of clothing or old rags. I love mixing techniques to get the most out of each and I really hate trying to worry about bad prints, clean up supports or dealing with small pieces that break easily when I can pull out cheap craft supplies for those parts. I am excited to see what you come up with. This looks great already. Oh, and any statues of Egyptian gods would be awesome. My wife loves that stuff.

That sure is a wall! Now...we wait. Excited to see the best Bazar ever modeled in 3d. No pressure! Okbye!
