Hi everybody,
the Mausoleum of the Martyr is finally complete!
The gargantuan structure is now filled with a circular altar, reliquaries, urns and statues. The renders should speak for themselves, but I particularly like the circle of candles around the stone altar-platform (there is also a version without them). I think they really give a ritual/gothic church vibe to the location. The gargoyles come in three versions: they can be glued to walls or to the corners of the cathedral, or they can stand perched on any high ground where they look cool.
With the modular statues set I wanted to make a model that could easily change in vibe and fit either a good-aligned temple or an evil one. The array of heads and the different objects can be arrange to make sepulcher guards, red wizards holding tomes, mysterious shades with forbidden scrolls and an impression of Lathander offering an ancient and sacred sword, just to name a few ideas :) There is also a ruined version in case you want to put these in a ruin or something like that.
These statues are tall, but they can be re-scaled at need (keep in mind that in that case magnet sockets will change size). Gargoyles may benefit from re-scaling too, depending on your projects. These are meant to fit the front of the cathedral nicely :)
The post with the links has been updated and I invites for MMF are out. Let me know if you have trouble accessing the files and I'll sort it out :)
That's it for now. I'll be back in a couple of days with the poll for May and a Wip of April - the Oasis.
Thanks for the support, and especially on slow months! I wish you a happy hobby time :D
