The Spider Den part #2!

Hi everybody,

the final part of the release is up! This Spider God Statue comes with two body options: a "regular" spider and a dark elf variant, with the iconic "lolthian" look. The aim of this pack was to make a statue that would work as a central element of a spider temple / dark elf inspired dungeon. I also wanted to make it at least a bit modular: you can change the orientations of the leg to make a few different poses. The one in the render has tilted back legs so that it feels more 3D, as if the spider was descending from above on the ritual prey placed in front of them.

The platform itself is modular: you can make the decorated stand that you can see in the render, you can avoid the "clawed" bits to make it less high fantasy, or you can print six stair sections and have them represent the portal that connects to the Abyss. The descending pattern towards the center of the platform calls for a blood pool ritual, in my opinion!

I hope you find this small set inspiring and, even if you don't like spiders, that it adds value to your locations collection :) Now that the testing is done, and June is complete I'll be back working on the Underdark Flora coming next month.
