Poll for April!
Added 2024-02-20 21:36:45 +0000 UTCHi everybody,
I am currently working on the Mausoleum of the Martyr - I'll have some WIP ready in a few days - that will come in March. In the meanwhile, it is time to vote for April!
This month I am not adding new entries to the poll: I have a long list of ideas for future releases, but first I want to thin down the number of options. We are currently at eigth and I want to get to six, in part ot make voting easier, in part because I really want to work on some of the older entries that are still in the list!
The Nautiloid Sanctum. Walls of flesh pulse like the heartbeat of a gargantuan creature: its organs are carved into rooms, its tissues into tables and menacing pods. Something moves inside these living tanks. - Mind flayer themed objects and props with pods, vats, psy-cannons and other living flesh contraptions. There should also be an OpenLOCK set to make nautiloid rooms, but that depends on the volume of scatter terrain, which is the main part of the release.
The Siege Tower. The sound of battle cries, orders and the clashing of swords fill the air. Catapults and ballistas spit their death on the town’s wall, but the eyes of the besieged widen in fear at the sight of the towers: slow but steady, approaching the bastions with their load of screaming foes. - A modular siege tower that can also be built as a solid wooden outpost. Objects and Props will contain anything useful in a siege and a few customization options to change the siege engine to non-human races (I’m thinking orcs, inspired by that iconic Pelennor look!).
Hell! Scourging heat and blood-chilling wails: there is no mistaking the smell of sulfur and desperation that pollutes the air. We are in hell… - Jagged rocks, runic stones and devilish bone-structures: everything that you’d expect in fantasy hellish planes. With an Oblivion style portal to the lower hells!
The Blueteeth Tribe Camp. When the sun fades, the cries and laughter of the Blueteeth Camps can be heard from a great distance. Their brawling contests are as legendary as their skill in hunting, which are proven by the gargantuan corpses from which they build their homes. This fame alone is strong enough to dissuade lesser tribes from battling them. - A barbarian camp with tents and huts made from the remains of giant beats: ribcages, horns and hides. To furnish them, hunting objects and props as well as the everyday life items of the barbarians.
The Pyramid of the Sun. Many steps lead to the Altar of the Sun where the high priest communes with the Gods. Below, in the depth of the pyramid, many treasures sacred to the Serpent, the Lotus and the Macaw are guarded by silent wardens. - A mesoamerican pyramid (OpenLOCK set) with playable interiors and ritual objects and props, as well as its secret treasures and its stone snake wardens.
The Temple of Flowing Sand. A lonely temple in a valley of dead kings, resting for eternity. The sea of sand flows free between its colonnades. They say that in its deepest chamber the high priestess is still pondering the sky. - Ancient Egyptian style temple (OpenLOCK) with a decorated entrance, funerary objects and props, obelisks and colonnades.
Al'Nab, the Oasis. Thirsty and famished travelers often end up in Al'Nab with a sigh of relief. Although its name may seem ominous - the Tusk - it is a peaceful place... as long as you stay in your tent at night. - A fantasy Persia themed set, with a modular bazaar (OpenLOCK set), its precious contents as Objects and Props, and camels!
The Labyrinth. A thin rope made of red silk. "If you lose this, you will be lost." They ventured between the towering rock walls of the house of Asterius, never to be seen again. - A greek-style labyrinth terrain (OpenLOCK set), with greek themed objects and props and the lair of the minotaur! The Avrean Oracle is a good example of its style.
That’s it! I’ll be collecting results in the last days of February.
Also, if you have trouble accessing the files or you didn’t receive a message from MMF to redeem them, send me a dm and I’ll sort it out :)
Thank you for the support, and I wish you a happy hobby time! :D

Already done with MimiVillage and Plenty of Teeth Kickstarters amongst others. There is still a little room in the space to innovate but not much at this point.

2024-03-07 13:51:30 +0000 UTCYou got it buddy. Maximum use always! And here's what I think of when I think of Persian bazzars. Indoor (I fucking dare you! Lol) https://images.app.goo.gl/vtTr7cWajkNJbyD7A https://images.app.goo.gl/ZWP6oRdcs9Q5uNJu6 https://images.app.goo.gl/FW26P5cV2gumkwe68 https://images.app.goo.gl/QNxGLcTLAkbP6wnH9 Outside (which are the same but with no roof): https://images.app.goo.gl/anPCj8fwHUyiNwz59 https://images.app.goo.gl/anPCj8fwHUyiNwz59 Good reference video: https://youtu.be/rrgdUY6CF4Q?si=lAxna2rhAlhWyuMV And just to be clear, Bazzars are usally indoors or in arcades (the architecture not the games) and the outdoors ones seem to be the same but without a roof and much rarer. A market, on the other hand would be stalls with overhead coverings and sprawling out in a town center: https://www.travelchannel.com/interests/shopping/photos/worlds-best-open-air-markets I love the idea of this: https://images.app.goo.gl/qqEvBBr7CL5Hghto8 https://images.app.goo.gl/qqhHd87QBCbf4AZE9 Great reference video: https://youtu.be/JmREg_FcpwI?si=yHFdoQnrod55qJ5_ (sorry, I make games and shit for a living so it's the info I would want) All just outside unsolicited suggestions. Completely ignored it if you want as you are not obligated to do or care about single thing I say. I support you and your art and sculpts and you only produce amazing work and I look forward to continuing to see more of it out of you. Thank you for all your hard work and effort you put in to not only making realistic sculpts (only stuff I collect) but by always creating such value for your work. It is almost unmatched in the solo studio space and value to the customer/supporter still matters in digital business. It's how you gain a following and trust in your product and you are great at that. So thank you never ripping us off or stumbling through some bullshit release. You always put our quality product consistently. Can't wait for more!

2024-02-24 00:19:47 +0000 UTCA modular pyramid is definitely doable, and the people can print as much as they want and make it as large as they wish. If more people are interested I'll add it to one of the coming polls :) And for the bazar, if the Oasis wins I'll try to incorporate the suggestions: it should be modular enough to build a sprawling location!

2024-02-23 21:13:47 +0000 UTCLove the idea of a huge multi-level modular pyramid with working traps, just a shame us meer mortals don't have the time and money to create such a thing.

2024-02-21 10:19:47 +0000 UTCLook, I am all about the Egyptian stuff but no one has the balls to do what we all really want. A pyramid the size of a table. Guess I'll just make one and sell it then. So since we're never going to get that and since no one also seems to be able to break away from the cliche Hell theme and instead do a kind of Heronymus Bosch version I with they would, I therefore will gladly throw in for the Oasis only because a modular bazzar that will allow me to make an entire table of a sprawling shop setup (please make it so we can make some kind of alleywas with it like real bazzars that are built into the bottom floor of a building [that the shop runner is most likely live above]) and use it as a main location for a great story and for anything from a location you have to find a specific thing or person to a full blow mystery or James Bond/ Who done it? kind of game. I just hope it can be made into either a huge open square filled with vendors that branch out into the alleys of the buildings surrounding the vendor square or something even more true with tons of alleys and buildings and underground stores, etc. Go big! Either way, I'm in and sorry about the ramble.
