What Christmas in England is Like 🎄✨

Wanted to share some christmassy photos from England! I'm amazed by how well the streets are decorated here for the holidays, it's quite impressive. 

London was wild! Look how pretty it is 💫 So many streets were lit up like this and there was an amazing Christmas market as well.

We spent the days leading up to Christmas in Canterbury because we were here in the Summer and I thought it would be really charming during Christmas. I was right :D So many cozy pubs, we had a bit too much mulled wine😂

A few days in I switched to Bailey's hot chocolate instead ☕️

Christmas Day we spent with Chris' fam. His Mom made an amazing Christmas dinner and we must have opened about 200 presents😲🎁 I love the music they listen to at Christmas here! So many songs I had never heard before. I had just assumed they would listen to the same music that we do in Canada😅

The day after we went on a little road trip to Sandwich! The home of the sandwich :D We stopped at a pub for lunch, and luckily they had sandwiches on the menu. I ordered Cheese & Pickle but this is definitely not what I was expecting😅 It was more of a relish? than pickles. I thought it was gonna be dill pickles and cheddar cheese. Not a fan of the relish stuff. But at least I can say I had a sandwich in Sandwich.

On the way home we stopped by Dover to see the stunning White Cliffs. The weather was so clear we could see France really clearly across the water!
